Dr. Corey Manders earned his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto under Prof. Steve Mann, where he pioneered early Augmented Reality glasses, leading to products like HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. His work focuses on AI, Computational Vision, and Image Processing. In Singapore, he conducted AI research at A*STAR and developed early systems that inspired the Microsoft Kinect. He founded BetaSight Technology Pte. Ltd., specializing in ophthalmologic and neurologic diagnostics using VR headsets. Dr. Manders has also taught Financial Data Science and Digital Currencies at Singapore Management University and led AI product development at multiple tech companies.
